Shenyang General Magnetic CO., LTD (SGM) founded in 2000, produces high performance NdFeB rare earth permanent magnetic materials and components with exemplary characteristics, high-working temperature, uniformity, low rare earth content and reduced cost. We have vertically integrated our production process by establishing two wholly owned subsidiary companies engaged in machining and plating of sintered NdFeB magnets and in design and assembly of MRI core parts.
SGM’s current production capacity is 1500-tons per year. However, as rare earth prices increase, SGM will maintain a competitive advantage by reducing the amount of scarce heavy rare earth needed in its production process of NdFeB magnets through the implementation of new technology and new equipment in our next planned phase of development. The next phase will increase our capacity by 2000-ton per year providing the market with an a total of 3500-tons of output.
With a strong focus in research and development, SGM, its partners and subsidiaries have more than 130 patents & pending patent applications. Using production technology developed by our parent company SCNVI. SGM is using novel processing equipment and technology that gives SGM the freedom to produce high performing NdFeB sintered magnets and components.
Since 2007, SGM has been efficiently managing its operation using the ERP enterprise management system and provides data for product traceability, cost control, quality, and on-time delivery in order to enhance customer satisfaction.
