Shenyang General Magnetic CO., Ltd. (SGM) was founded in August 2000 with a registered capital of RMB 92 million. It is a professional manufacturer of high-performance NdFeB rare earth permanent magnet materials and applicable components.
The Company wholly owns Shenyang Zhongbei Surface Treatment Technology Co., Ltd., which specializes in manufacturing green compacts of sintered NdFeB. Its another wholly-owned subsidiary, Shenyang Zhongbei Haotong Electronics Co., Ltd., focuses on the mechanical processing and electroplating of sintered NdFeB.
CNVAC, the parent company of SGM, was established in the 1990s. It boasts an R&D team consisting of doctors, masters and foreign experts engaged in the development of vacuum equipment. The company has undertaken numerous key national and local scientific research projects including the National 863 Program, and developed a series of core equipment such as vacuum melting furnaces, vacuum sintering furnaces and vacuum brazing furnaces.
Leveraging the high-performance NdFeB production equipment and process technologies from parent company CNVAC, SGM keeps increasing investment in R&D. It has obtained a series of proprietary technologies and core patents in fields including metal diffusion technology and cerium substitution technology. Mass-produced magnet grades cover various series of sintered NdFeB magnets including 30AH, 42EH, 52UH, 54SH, 56H, 56M and N56.On this basis, the Company can supply magnets with surface treatments such as Ni plating, Zn plating, Ni-Cu-Ni plating, Epoxy and phosphating as required by customers.
The Company’s products have entered mainstream application markets for high-performance NdFeB with considerable scale, including magnets for elevator traction machines, energy-saving motors, automotive supply chains and electronic components. Premium products are supported by advanced management systems. The Company has successively obtained ISO9001:2015, IATF16949:2015 and ISO14001:2015 certifications issued by TÜV Rheinland.
Since 2007, the enterprise-wide ERP management system has been fully deployed. It provides data support and guidance for product traceability and cost control, effectively improving product quality, cutting production costs, shortening delivery cycles and enhancing customer satisfaction.
